Day 01: Cochin

 

Arrive to a warm welcome at the Cochin airport / railway station. Thereafter, our India Profile representative will escort you to the hotel. Rest awhile and enjoy a lavish lunch before going across the Cochin Harbour to Fort Cochin . Visit many interesting sites like the Dutch Palace , Jewish Synagogue, St. Francis Church and Chinese Fishing nets. Return for an overnight stay at the hotel.

 

Day 02: Cochin – Kumarakom

 

 On day 2 of the Kerala Backwater Holidays tour, set out for Kumarakom after breakfast. Check into a hotel / resort on arrival and have the remaining part of the day to yourself. You can also pamper yourself with an Ayurvedic massage at the hotel / resort. Stay overnight at Kumarakom.

 

Day 03 : Kumarakom

 

Wake up early for a bird watching trip to the Kumarakom bird sanctuary. Enjoy a sumptuous breakfast on return and set out to visit some neighboring farmhouses. Spend the remaining part of the day at leisure. Overnight stay would be at Kumarakom.

 

Day 04 : Kumarakom Houseboat

 

As part of the Kerala Backwater Holidays tour, drive to the wonderful backwater destination of Alleppey. Board a houseboat that will take you through the sleepy backwaters of Kerala. Pass by charming villages, lush green paddy fields and other scenic delights as you spend a full day on board the houseboat. Stay overnight in your houseboat besides enjoying the best of traditional food.

 

Day 05: Departure Kumarakom

 

On the final day of the Kerala Backwater Holidays tour with India Profile, drive to Cochin and transfer to the airport / railway station on arrival. You can also choose to extend your stay by indulging in another package offered by India Profile.
