Day 01:   Arrive – Delhi

 

Meeting assistance on arrival and transfer to hotel.

Overnight at the hotel.

Day 02: 

 

Full day sight seen of Old Delhi and New Delhi .

Old Delhi : An ancient walled city. See the Red Fort , Raj Ghat , Jama Masjid, and Chandni Chowk.

New Delhi :  The city design and built by the British in the 1920’s with wide boulevards impressive Government buildings. Visit Humayun’s Tomb and Qutub Minar. Gate and Parliament House.

Day 03: Delhi Udaipur                             (By flight)

Transfer to airport in time to connect flight for Udaipur .

Day 04:  Udaipur

 

Morning visit:

 

Eklingji :  14 miles North-East of Udaipur is the village of Kailashpuri known for its 108 temples. The whole complex is known as Sri Eklingji temple , associated with Lord Shiva since ancient times.

Nagda :  Close to Kailashpuri down a rough country road is believed to have been established by Nagaditya the fourth Mewar King . There are several temples dating back to the fourth century A.D.

Afternoon city tour of Udaipur .

Udaipur City :  In the most midst of this romantic fate ridden land you come Udaipur , beautiful city of lakes, palaces and fountain . Visit the city Place Museum – grandeur and intricacy stroked all over in Granite, Marble and Mosaic displayed in the sparkling white filigreed balconies and windows, ornate arches and cupolas atop magnificent  octagonal towers , Jagdish Temple, built in 1651 A.D. &Sahelion Ki  Bari.

Day 05 :   Udaipur / Jodhpur                        (320 kms – 8hrs & 30 min approx.)

Leave Udaipur for Jodhpur by surface , enroute visit :

Ranakpur :  Famous for the quadruple Jain Temple . The hole structure has 80 domes and is of 400 pillars . Afetr the visit continue your drive , on arrival check-in at hotel.

Day 06 : Jodhpur

 

Morning city tour of Jodhpur .

Jodhpur City : The home of the Rathore rulers . Visit Mehrangarh Fort- founded in 1459 A.D. by Rao Jodha (After whom the city is named) . Also visit Jaswant Thada – an imposing white marble cenotaph built to commemorate the acts of bravery and generosity of the rulers of the 19th century.

DAY 07 : Jodhpur   /Jaipur                      (332 km / 8hr )

Leave Jodhpur by surface for Jaipur, on arrival chek-in at  hotel.

Day 08 :  Jaipur

 

Morning visit Amber Fort with elephant ride.

Amber Fort : 11 km from Jaipur –A marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. The ascent to the Fort is on gaily caparisoned  elephants.

Afternoon visit :

Jaipur City :  City Palace Museum – an imposing blend of traditional Rajsthani and Mughal art . The Museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes , carpets, and armoury of fold weapons and miniature paintings . Visit Jantar Mantar (Observatory) , Hawa Mahal ( Palace of Winds ).

Day 09 : Jiapur / Agra                                      (232 km / 8hrs)

Leave Jaipur for Agra by surface, Enroute visit :

Fatehpur Sikari : A fascinating ghost town, lies a little beyond Agra the deserted Red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital. Also visit the marble tomb of the Saint Salim Chisti, enclosed by delicately carved marble screens .

After the visit continue your drive , on arrival check-in at hotel.

Day 10 :   Agra

 

Morning visit :

Agra City :  is the medieval city of the famous 17th century masterpiece Taj Mahal ,which of course the most splendid of all buildings. Agra is not only famous for Taj Mahal but the impressive Mughal Red Fort known as the Agra Fort.

(Taj Mahal closed on Friday)

Afternoon free to explore the city on your own.

Day 11 :  Agra Jhansi / Orchha

 

Transfer to Railway station in time to connect SHATABDI EXPRESS TRAIN for Jhansi .

Leave Agra       at : 0815 Hrs.

Arrive Jhansi     at :1040 Hrs.

Afternoon visit Orchha:

Orchha : The Bundela chief Raja Rudra Pratap (1501-31) chose an easily defended and beautiful site for his capital. It is set on the Island on a bend in the Betwa River . Orchha contains three places- The Raj Mahal , Raj Parveen Mahal, Jahangir Mahal. Also visit Ram Raja Temple .

Day 12 :  Orchha / Khajuraho

 

Drive to Khajuraho ,on arrival check in at the hotel.

Morning city tour Khajuraho.

Khajuraho City : Founded in the 9th and 10th century by the rulers of the Chandela Dynasty, Influenced by tantrism, in eroticism becomes a theme of philosophical interest and the aim is submlimation of sexual relationship. Visit the Kandariya Mahadeo, the largest and most typical Khajuraho temple. Chaunsat Yogini , the only granite temple and the earliest surviving shrine of the group (900 A.D.) Chitragupta temple is the temple dedicated to the Sun God.: Surya . Vishwanath temple , a three headed image of Brahma is enshrined in this temple.

Day 14 :  Khajuraho – Varanasi                            (By flight )

Morning free.

Transfer to airport in time to connect  flight for Varanasi , on arrival check-in at hotel.

Day 15 :  Varanasi

 

Early morning boat ride on holy river Ganges .

Later visit.

Varanasi City : The consists of visiting the city temples- The Durga Temple, better known as the Monkey temple on account of the large monkeys residing there and the temple of Vishwanath ( or Vesheshwar”Lord of the Universe”) are the most scared spots in the city. Visit will also included Bharat Mata or Mother India Temple and the Benaras Hindu University .

Afternoon excursion to Sarnath.

Sarnath :  1o km from the centre of the city, Sarnath symbolises the birth of Buddhism. It was here that Lord Buddha revealed his doctrine and founded his monastic community. The Museum at Sarnath is amongst the most important in .

Transfer to airport in time to connect flight for Delhi .
